MD19 is an international Multiple District with 5 subdistricts serving 10,000 Lions and Leos in 400 clubs in the Province of British Columbia, Canada, and the States of Idaho and Washington in the United States.
Founded in 1917, Lions International is the largest and most active community service organization in the world. There are now 1,400,000 Lions serving in 49,000 Lions Clubs in 200 countries and regions worldwide.

Northwest Lions Leadership Institute — The 2026 Northwest Lions Leadership Institute will be held June 4 to June 7, 2026 in Chilliwack, British Columbia Canada. The Institute is a hands-on leadership experience created specifically for Lions. It's practical, interactive, and focused on real skills you can use immediately — in your club, your district, and your everyday life. This is not a lecture weekend. It is not about titles. It's about learning how to lead people, build momentum, and strengthen clubs. Registration is US$35000, CAN$37500, which covers everything — tuition, lodging, and all materials. - Get Your New Member Kits Here —If you need a couple (that's 2) or even a few (that's 3) new member kits or certificates right away, and you don't have enough time left to order them from LCI, and you can't find any from your Zone Chair, and the DG is Has already given theirs away… then try us at the MD19 office. Send an email or call (360)-733-4911), we might be able to help. Although the kits are free, your club will be charged the actual postage cost.
- How To Report Service Activities To LCI — Check this out! LCI has a video that describes, in detail, how to report service activities on the (kind of new) Lions Portal. Don't fear the Portal! - CLUB NEWSLETTERS — Club bulletin editors: When you send your club bulletin to the MD19 Office via email using the email address md19lions@ lionsmd19.org, you will receive a response within 24 hours. If you do not receive a response, please call the office (360-733-4911) to verify whether the bulletin has been received.
- CARE Donations — For every $500 dollars (US and CDN at par) a club donates to the CARE project, the club is eligible to give a Gordon F. Smith CARE Fellowship to a deserving club member (CARE certificate and pin). The Fellowship must be requested in the same Lions year in which the donation was made. A rocker is automatically given to clubs that contribute $5.00 per member to CARE within the current Lions year.
- CLUB SECRETARY REPORTING — Club secretaries: Information (especially updates for Club Officers) that you report to the MD19 office should be sent to md19lions@lionsmd19.org so that it can be timely processed.
- ZONE CHAIR REPORTING — Zone Chairpersons: Please send your reports, bulletins, and expense claim forms to md19admin@lionsmd19.org. Note that this is not the same address that club secretaries report to.
- IPDG AND VDG EXPENSE REPORTING — Immediate Past District Governors and Vice District Governors: Expense Claim Forms should be emailed to md19lions@lionsmd19.org for timely processing.
- ANNUAL MD19 MEMORIAL GARDEN DEDICATION — Mark your calendar for the annual Memorial Garden dedication, which is always held the third Saturday each August on the grounds of the MD19 office, 4141 Bennett Drive, Bellingham, Washington U.S.A.
- Friends of the Garden — Donations to or for the benefit of the MD19 Memorial Garden are always welcome from individuals or Lions Clubs. The Garden, which is located on the groiunds of the MD19 office in Bellingham, Washington U.S.A. can not exist without your contributions.
